Legal
Terms of use
These terms explain how LoveToPay works as an introduction marketplace. They are written for UK users and should be reviewed by a solicitor before relying on them as final legal wording.

Who we are
LoveToPay lets buyers publish requests for products they want and the price they are prepared to pay. Sellers can offer matching items. LoveToPay introduces the parties; it is not the buyer, seller, owner, inspector, payment processor, carrier or escrow provider for the goods.
Questions about these terms can be sent to ianwmurphy@gmail.com.
Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate account and contact information and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for anything done through your account.
You must be legally able to enter into the sale you arrange and must not use LoveToPay for unlawful, unsafe, counterfeit, stolen, age-restricted or prohibited goods.
Requests, offers and introductions
A buyer's posted price is the price the seller agrees to meet when making an offer. Buyers can accept one offer, which closes the request and marks other offers as not accepted.
Descriptions, photos and videos are provided by users. LoveToPay does not guarantee condition, authenticity, ownership, availability, delivery, suitability or that either party will complete a sale.
Introduction fee
When a buyer accepts an offer, the seller owes LoveToPay an introduction fee of 10% of the buyer's posted price. The fee is for the introduction and is separate from the price paid for the item.
Contact details are only released after the fee has been marked as paid and confirmed. If a sale is cancelled after contact details have been released, the introduction service has still been provided unless LoveToPay agrees otherwise in writing.
Contact-detail rules
Before the introduction fee is confirmed, users must not share phone numbers, email addresses, social handles, website links, addresses or other off-site contact details in messages, descriptions, photos or videos.
LoveToPay may block, remove or review content that appears to avoid this rule, including spaced-out numbers, written-out numbers or contact details shown inside uploaded media.
Safety, disputes and liability
Buyers and sellers arrange payment, collection, delivery, inspection and any after-sale issues directly with each other. Meet safely, check items carefully and use secure payment methods.
Nothing on LoveToPay is legal, financial, tax, product-safety or consumer-rights advice. To the fullest extent allowed by law, LoveToPay is not liable for user listings, user conduct, failed sales, losses, damage or disputes between users.
Changes and suspension
LoveToPay may update these terms, change site features, refuse content, suspend accounts or restrict access where needed to protect users, comply with law or protect the service.
